The New Husband Case File
Case File: Tulio Gutierrez

Tulio Gutierrez is Alessandra’s husband and a civil engineer from Spain. He has his own construction company which makes him work long hours and away from his family. He and Alessandra have only been married for a few months, but he and Alessandra seem very happy with their lives. He and Alessandra met while his company was getting work licenses in Italy and have been inseparable ever since. He seems to have a difficult relationship with his oldest daughter, Marta, but has a great relationship with his youngest daughter, Esperanza. He may or may not be trying to gaslight his own wife due to downplaying the seriousness of her near-fatal accidents.
The Stepdaughter Division Case File
Case File: Esperanza Gutierrez
Age: 16
Esperanza seems to have taken to her stepmother very quickly, even though their initial relationship was a bit shaky. She has decided to become a lawyer and, although it will still be a couple of years before she can go to law school, she has been studying all the textbooks on Italian law that Alessandra has lent her. She takes about her mother a great deal and seems to be the nicest of the two girls, although I have heard her, and Marta fight many times. There are times when she seems very secretive and is not seen for hours at a time.

Age: 17
Marta is a teen whiz when it comes to engineering and mechanics, and always reads manuals about everything that has to do with both those things. She always carries a tool belt with her and seems to want to create her own engineering company. She has been hostile towards her father, stepmother, and sister, but it could be part of grieving her mother’s death. Her admirable qualities are that she is very observant and ambitious, but this can also be a double-edged sword. Even though János denies it, I’ve seen that Marta has a huge crush on him and tries to always sit down next to him during every mealtime.
