About Isabel Alzate

“Look at life all around; everything is growing, everything is moving forward. Therefore, I recommend keeping in touch with life and with art”

-Agrippina Vaganova, Ballet Dancer and Teacher

My name is Isabel Alzate and I am an Entertainment Business student in

Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. I was born in Colombia, lived a year in Spain, and spent most of my life living in some of the cities and towns of the U.S. For this reason, I am very open-minded, and always eager to learn new things about music, films, ballets, opera, and cultures from around the world.

I want to work in administration in the Ballet, Opera, Film, and Music companies. The reason for this is because my biggest passions are the world of ballet and opera because I have always admired the storytelling quality of their productions. The music both captivates and astounds the audience, while also working as a narrative.  While movies and tv shows rely on computer generated images, ballet and opera productions do not have that option because of its live theater setting. As a student from the business side of the entertainment world, I am dazzled by the scale of each production and happy to know that both these two storytelling forms are alive and well with new productions every year.

As a professional, I stand for treating people with fairness and equality. I have always thought that the best way to solve problems and misunderstandings is by having good communication between the different departments so that everyone will know what is expected of them. I believe great art should be appreciated and enjoyed by everyone. What powers my motivation is that I want to bring both ballet, opera, film, and music to the front of people’s minds, to make it as important as it used to be.

Success! Message received. I will get back to you soon.
